The Kit

About the product

Activities are designed for ages 3–8. Younger children (3–4) enjoy the colouring page and kite craft with a little adult help. Children aged 5–6 can follow the story comic independently. Older children (7–8) can do the journal prompts and festival facts on their own. The story comic is honestly enjoyable for parents too — we've had mums and dads message us saying they learned something new.
7 pages: a cover page, a 6-exchange story comic with Diya and Mor, a 5-fact festival infographic with vocabulary, a community celebration colouring scene, a kite design and cut-out craft, a journaling and drawing page, and a personalised certificate of completion. Each page is A4-sized and prints single-sided.
Plan for 45–60 minutes at a relaxed pace. You can do it all in one sitting on Baisakhi morning, or spread it across the day. Many families read the story at breakfast and do the craft in the afternoon. There's no wrong way — it's meant to feel like celebration, not homework.
Yes, accuracy matters deeply to us. The Baisakhi kit was researched over three months using academic sources and community input. It was reviewed by members of the Sikh and Punjabi diaspora community before publication. If you spot anything you'd like us to revisit, please tell us — we take corrections seriously and update kits when needed.
Printing & Download

Technical questions

Any home printer works. A colour printer gives the best result, but most pages look fine in black and white. Standard 80gsm A4 or US Letter paper is perfect. For the certificate, heavier paper (100–120gsm) looks nicer if you plan to frame it.
Yes — as many times as you like for your own household. Print extra copies of the colouring page if you have more than one child, or if your little one wants to colour it again. We ask only that you don't share the PDF file with other families — each purchase covers one household.
Absolutely. Take the PDF (on your phone, tablet, or via email) to any print shop — Staples, FedEx Office, UPS Store, or a local print shop. Ask for 7 colour pages, single-sided, standard paper. The total cost is usually £2–$3 / ₹40–80 depending on where you are.
First check your Etsy account directly: go to Purchases & Reviews and find your order — the download link is always there, even if the email didn't arrive. If that doesn't work, send us a message on Etsy or email us and we'll send the file directly within a few hours.
Yes. The PDF opens in any browser or PDF reader on any device. No special app is needed. If your phone asks what to open it with, choose your browser (Safari, Chrome) or Files app — either works fine.

Buying & returns

We sell exclusively through Etsy, which means your payment is protected by Etsy Purchase Protection. Etsy is one of the world's most trusted marketplaces. You pay through Etsy's checkout (card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay) — we never see your payment details.
Because this is an instant digital download, we can't offer refunds once the file has been accessed — just as you can't return a downloaded song. However, if something is wrong with your file, if a page is missing, or if you have any problem at all, please message us. We will make it right, no questions asked.
The standard licence covers one household (unlimited prints for your own children). For classroom or community use — 10 or more children — please contact us for a group licence. It's a one-time fee of $45 for up to 30 children ($1.50 per child), which includes permission to print as many copies as needed for that event.
Yes! Raksha Bandhan is coming in July 2026, Janmashtami in August, and Diwali (our biggest kit) in September. Join the waitlist on the homepage to hear first when new kits go live.
